Project Overview
GMG Corporation was contracted to engineer, build, and deploy a dual-phase vapor extraction system housed within a 10' by 20' building.
Design
The entire treatment system was designed for a Class 1 Division 1 hazardous environment to ensure safe operation. The unit was to be placed on-site at a commercial refueling facility, so sound dampening materials were utilized during building construction. The building was constructed on an 8" steel frame for rigidity and to allow safe lifting via crane for placement on its foundation. A 2' x 2' access hole is built into the building to allow an interface with well piping.
The Solution
Technologies In Use
Dual Phase Vapor Extraction (Treatment Process)
Remote Alarm Notification via TELCO auto-dialer
Benefits
The technologies employed in this solution allowed the system to operate in an unmanned mode, thus saving the owner the added costs of training and maintaining full time system operators.
